Special Projects Ambassadors are responsible for providing a visible uniformed presence and patrolling within the boundaries of the downtown district. They are responsible for conducting various maintenance tasks that improve the overall appearance of the program, picking up and removing trash and performing routine maintenance and repair duties on equipment such as: pressure washers, lawn mowers, weed eaters, gators and other small engines.
All of our Ambassadors are required to perform certain duties, such as reporting crimes and city municipal code violations to the proper authorities. Ambassadors act as an extra set of eyes and ears for the city.

- This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle clearance*
- Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy items, bending, and standing, climbing and traversing the environment. Must be able to safely operate a variety of mechanically powered rolling equipment, and manual and electric hand tools used in basic equipment operation and repair*
