Sales Support Specialist Job at Harvest Sherwood
Job Purpose
The Sales Support will support the sales team by providing administrative support. This includes general administrative duties, maintaining sales department data, report writing, preparing sales communications, and special projects. Additionally, this position will help resolve client problems and directing them to the appropriate party. assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Support person will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.
Must project a professional and positive attitude
Must be able to multitask and handle multiple incoming lines
Answer incoming branch calls and transfer to appropriate extension as needed
Operate in a “no surprise” manner with both external and internal customers
Acts as secondary contact person for accounts when Sales Associates are unavailable
Develops excellent communication and relationships with Sales Associates and their accounts
Receives and processes orders in an accurate and timely manner, exceeding customer expectations
Interfaces with other departments within the branch with required information to ensure total customer satisfaction
Demonstrate self-confidence and interpersonal communications skills, excellent telephone voice, manner, and etiquette
Respond to customers and Sales Associates inquires/requests for information concerning orders, deliveries or problems (such as product quality, delivery problems, delivery schedules, or product availability) all in a considerate and professional manner
Perform other tasks as needed
Must be experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access)
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos
Dependable - Follows instructions and responds well to management direction
Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or GED
Previous experience within customer service environment and/or sales office
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
