Technical Training Specialist - Flow and Imaging

San Diego, CA

Tasks:

As a member of the Miltenyi Biotec team, you will organize, prepare, and deliver customer training courses with the Miltenyi Innovation and Technology Centers (MITC) in collaboration with the senior team members to support marketing strategies and new product introduction. Additionally, you will utilize best practices in adult learning principles, facilitate and deliver certified Essential Trainings within the MITC aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. As a result of your ability to contribute to the development of new course content according to defined learning objectives and certification standards, you will support the continued success of Miltenyi Biotec as a whole.

Among other responsibilities, you will:

• Collaborate with Training Program Coordinator to organize training schedules, course registrations, course logistics and training center setup.
• Serve as co-trainer/preparation assistant to support Essential trainings as needed.
• Collaborate with Training Program Coordinator to report data on completed courses to senior team members, including overall effectiveness of courses and feedback for improvements.
• Maintain training lab equipment and supplies.
• Travel up to 30%

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Immunology, Stem Cell Biology, Cancer Research or similar science field with a minimum of 2- 4 years lab experience with knowledge of flow cytometry procedures, concepts, and laboratory techniques, and/or GMP compliant cell processing; or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in training technical concepts and lab procedures.
• Experience in design of technical course content with both traditional and modern training methods and tools (in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc) a plus.
• Working knowledge of MS office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and TechSmith platforms a plus.
• Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to plan and multi-task as well as work both independently and in a collaborative environment.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $90,720-$136,080/year. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
