This dynamic position at the premier casino in Dayton offers excellent opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment and a growing company. This is a Monday - Friday position.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise team of 6 – 8 Gaming/Non-Gaming Revenue Auditors for 5 gaming properties
- Ensure compliance with Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations. Perform some complicated MICS audits at the various properties.
- Consistently evaluate the existing revenue audit processes and procedures and suggest improvements that will increase the department efficiency.
- Updates revenue information for management and monthly financial statements.
- Involved in month end closing and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Work close with operation departments managers in resolving control issues and audit discrepancies.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret gaming and non-gaming revenues and detailed source documents.
- Knowledge of accounting concepts
- Must be able to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced working environment.
- This is a Gamed position; Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card.
- 5 - 7 years related gaming experience, training or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Possess effective leadership skills for supervising staff and making business decisions.
- Computer literacy is a must; will be working with various computer programs and accounting systems.
