We are searching for a hands-on manager with production manufacturing experience preferably from a third-party logistics automotive environment.

The Site Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities of the company's assigned area of responsibility in the plant facility of the customer location, including labor scheduling, supervision, and proper utilization of space, equipment, and team members.

The Site Manager provides general quality guidance to all managers and supervisors in accordance with established quality standards. Provide essential training and resources. Engages with cross-functional management team to improve quality and make sound decisions regarding quality issues. Ultimately responsible for team performance.

Responsibility and authority to serve as an ISO-9000/AS Site Coordinator, ensuring the Quality System is established, implemented, improved, and maintained to current revision status at our other facilities. The Site Manager is accountable for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the facility and equipment.

Description of job responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee operations to ensure safety
• Manage production and develop plans that help operations run smoothly
• Create and manage budgets.
• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste
• Analyze data and create reports to present to executives regarding processes
• Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement
• Oversee work schedules to ensure required personnel for shift coverage is met daily
• Perform routine safety checks on equipment
• Enforce all safety and company policies

Required Education:

• College degree in relevant field preferred, but not required.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Three (3) - 5 years' experience in production and/or manufacturing environment. Automotive industry experience highly desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to lead a large team
• Ability to prepare and present presentations, track and manage data using spreadsheets
• Strong ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, project management software
• Broad range of management skills required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning.
  
• Interpersonal skills, multitasking and time-management skills, problem solving abilities, attention to detail
• Detailed knowledge of plant & manufacturing operations
• Must have experience in leading a team with strong focus on positive employee relations.
