Job Summary
Provides patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of Medical Director, Physician, and Nurse Practitioner. Assist with front desk / clerical duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinic activities, needs, and problems related to patient care
• Complies with established patient care standards.
• Maintains established clinic policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
• Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.
• Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations.
• Greets patients and escorts them to the exam room.
• Takes and records vital and patient medical information in chart. Prepares patient room for exam. Assist Provider in procedures as necessary. Completes ordered lab procedures. Administer IM, Sub Q injections to include immunizations. Wound care and suture removal as directed by Provider. Communicate results of all procedures and tests to Provider. Discharge patient to receptionist.
• Cleans and disinfects exam rooms after use.
• Restocks supplies, linens, equipment, and checks for defects and outdating.
• Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and educational sessions are required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Maintain required continuing education courses
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is encouraged
