Job Summary:
Arrowroot Capital seeks a driven, intelligent, and motivated candidate with a strong interest in growth equity and enterprise software to assist our investment team and support the firm’s sourcing and evaluating efforts. As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, contacting, and building relationships to help drive investment opportunities for the firm. You will work alongside all members of the firm’s Investment Team on a regular basis and will have the unique opportunity to be a key member of the investment process.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess potential investment opportunities for Arrowroot
• Engage with prospective stakeholders, such as Founders or CEOs, of key investment opportunities
• Provide market research support including an overview of key market trends, competitive analysis, as well as identification of potential acquisition targets
• Ensure effective and efficient tracking and reporting on key pipeline metrics
• Investment due diligence (financial, competitive, strategic, etc.)
• Financial modeling, updating portfolio reports, budgeting, and general analytical support
• Support in operating plan development, strategic initiatives, and corporate development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier undergraduate institution and strong track record of academic performance
  • Preferred GPA 3.5 or higher
• 0-1 years’ experience in Investing/Finance, Technology, Sales, or Consulting (including internship experience)
• Strong interest in enterprise software investing
• Top performer within peer group in the following areas: qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, finance, business judgment and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a high degree of intellectual curiosity, proactive mentality and desire to work in an unstructured, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Team player with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Superior Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
