1. Demonstrates the ability to work as a team member in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
2. Assists kitchen staff with all phases of food receiving, as directed.
3. Assists kitchen staff with all phases of food preparation, as directed.
4. Assists kitchen staff with all phases of food storage, as directed.
5. Assists kitchen staff with all phases of cleaning, as directed.
6. Assists kitchen staff with all phases of containerizing of meals and meal components, as directed.
7. Demonstrates the ability to use designated food service equipment safely.
8. Communicate effectively with coworkers and demonstrate the ability to read printed materials required for the position.
9. Promotes adherence to all agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies.
PLEASE NOTE: Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day.
X Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Climb up and down up to flights of stairs at a time.
X Lift up to 50 pounds.
