Director of Operations Job at Mobile Communications America
MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Manager, Operations – DAS within our footprint to support our fast-growing Data division. The Operations manager reports into the Vice President and is responsible for the timely completion of wireless communication construction projects. The director will have responsibility for leading regional teams of project managers, technicians, installers and contractors.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Provide leadership to align, motivate, enable, support and build a positive work environment for the team.
- Provide leadership to ensure project execution with expected levels of quality and customer satisfaction. building long term customer relationships and repeat business.
- Develop annual goals and strategies to support MCA growth.
- Can do attitude to roll up your sleeves to do what it takes to execute on projects.
- Ensure compliance with MCA deployment practices and policies.
- Manage resource scheduling, sharing and time reporting across regions.
- Support presales quote process and enable sales success.
- Responsible for finding, developing and retaining talent.Participate and hold meetings to coordinate and align stakeholders.
- Drive, forecast and manage monthly and annual revenue and gross margins
- Envision and drive organizational process improvement efforts.
- Act as SME to regional groups.
- Enable safety driven culture for all operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and policies.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
- 10+ years of industry experience in telecommunications, wireless, wireline, or enterprise construction projects.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex technical projects and network operations.
- Strong skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, executive management, vendors, and subcontracting teams.
- Experience managing large teams.
- Up-to-date with DAS and Small Cell markets and industry trends, including the technology, the construction, and application within complex urban areas.
- Experience in project management software, project management methodology
- Bachelor’s degree with technical or business focus.
- PMP Certification is a plus
- OSHA 30 Certification is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
