Summary

Save the Children seeks to build a roster of mid- and senior-level technical research and analysis experts to be available to work on U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funded resilience and food security programs.


What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Position responsibilities will vary based on technical area and requirements per the solicitation. Candidates with expertise in the following areas should consider submitting their CVs: monitoring and evaluation, conducting and/or managing primary and secondary research, impact and/or program evaluations, qualitative and quantitative data aggregation and analysis, data visualization, systematic reviews, machine learning, geographic information system mapping, technical writing, and quality assurance for research methods and products.


Required Qualifications

Substantial experience relating to monitoring and evaluation and/or implementation of donor-funded food security and resilience projects, throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America and the Caribbean

Experience working in the context of USAID projects and/or engaging with USAID missions and staff

Proven ability in understanding, creating and implementing solutions in order to achieve measurable results, preferably within research and development projects

Experience working with international development organizations and/or research and analysis institutions

Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations

Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in English
