Andrew Morgan Consulting, LLC (AMC) seeks a Deputy Program/Production Manager to support our fast-paced DoD Client in Arlington, VA. The Deputy Program/Production Manager (DPPM) will be experienced in the client’s industry and strategy and will assist the team in accomplishing pre-determined KPIs. The Deputy Program/Production Manager will be responsible for organizing and coordinating meetings and planning sessions to ensure program support activities are productive. The DPPM will also be responsible for developing workforce and funding requirements, completing mission objectives, determining optimal courses of action, making recommendations to client leadership, and adjusting priorities with shifting market conditions. The DPPM will assist the PM in facilitating change management holistically by helping to lead the broader team through pre-determined benchmarks and disciplined program management techniques.



Roles, Responsibilities, and Performance Outcomes.

  • Supports the PM and the client in keeping track of, and ensuring success of, all agreed upon KPIs and client goals.
  • Organizes and coordinates meetings and planning sessions to ensure program support activities are productive.
  • Develops workforce and funding requirements to ensure organization accomplishes its mission.
  • Implements and tracks goals and objectives for programs and projects.
  • Conducts both quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of business workflow processes and recommends the planning for corrective courses of action.
  • Presents information derived from data and process analyses to various clients with proficiency in oral, visual, and written communications.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Completes all assigned actions and tasks within suspense period.
  • Fully capable of collecting, compiling, editing, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial, project, and program management principles.

Required Education.

  • B.A./B.S. in a technical area such as business, management, finance, accounting, or related field.

Required Experience.


7-10 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Managing multitask projects of high complexity
  • Managing budget, quality, and timeline of projects and programs
  • Leading cross-functional teams of various skill types with multiple concurrent deliverables
  • Presenting findings to executive level clients
  • Eliciting requirements for business process reengineering as well as technology solutions
  • Facilitating client management teams through change processes and delivering presentations
  • Leading client meetings
  • Developing a change management strategy, cultivating transformation champions throughout the organization, and leading change events


Desired Experience, Education, and/or Certifications.

  • DHA / Service HQ and MTF staff or consulting experience
  • Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Budget Estimate Submission (BES) demonstrated understanding and direct experience
  • DoD Financial Management Certification – Level III (DFMC-3)
  • PMP, DAU PM – Practitioner
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), CDFM, or CDFM-A

Clearance.

Ability to obtain Public Trust (DoD CAC), required.

Salary.

Salary is commensurate with both experience and location.

Location.

The primary location for work to be performed is Arlington, VA (Rosslyn) and Alexandria, VA (Old Town).
