Customer Care Specialist Job at Red Diamond, Inc.
This position serves as the liaison between the consumer/customer and Red Diamond’s Quality, Production, Sales, and Marketing groups. Performs customer support for Ready to Drink Products (RTD), Retail dry coffee and box tea, Wholesale and Coffee Service as well as administrative support activities for the Quality Assurance Department. Receives and makes phone calls with consumers/customers and talks with them to answer inquiries. Research questions from customers and provides answers in a timely manner. Analyzes feedback, trends, and pertinent information to provide meaningful reports to the Quality Assurance team on a timely basis. Serves as primary backup to company switchboard.
Food Safety Responsibilities: Understand the methods and responsibilities for recording, handling, investigating, and aid in resolving food safety and quality complaints that arise from the products manufactured by Red Diamond, Inc and/or partner/co-manufacturers and other responsibilities as set forth in the SQF Code (Food Safety, Quality) Section 2.1.3. Complaint Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Strong diplomacy and tact
- Continual sense of urgency
- Knowledge of general office procedures.
- Excellent computer skills including word, tables and graphs, and spreadsheets.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills both written and oral/phone use.
- Basic math and reasoning ability.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience Required: High school diploma plus three to five years food safety/quality and/or customer service experience.
