This Event Planner role is a new opportunity for someone to will manage virtual sales events, as well as in-person activities in the Greenville, SC area. This dynamic and engaging role occasionally hosts multi-night programs in the continental US. What You'll Do
  • Collaborate on developing programs and policies surrounding virtual and hybrid events and execution for TD SYNNEX North America.
  • Qualifies sponsor/customers event requirements and drafts event budgets and proposals.
  • Coordinate virtual production and day of logistics, including taking on lead and secondary roles as needed such as: meeting host, moderator, technical contact and activity facilitator.
  • Assist in the build, content collection, monitoring, and reporting of event registration sites, mobile applications, and virtual platforms.
  • Coordinate with approved third parties for activities for virtual events such as: trivia night, cooking classes, mixology, craft projects, etc
  • Coordinate required shipments to attendees if necessary
  • Work with conference stakeholders to develop agenda, presentations, and content for hybrid and virtual events and conferences.
  • Oversee and monitor event sponsorships, deliverables, deadlines, inventory, and following up on outstanding items with conference stakeholders.
  • Provide updates on planning progress and deadlines to conference stake holders, planning team, and marketing team.
  • Work with in-house design agency on video and graphic projects for event collateral.
  • Research and source third-party suppliers as needed, including managing RFPs, contracts, payments, and ongoing relationship development with third-party suppliers.
  • Manage limitations of projects within given budget and time frames.
  • Utilizes database and other tools to manage, track, forecast, close and report on events jobs.
  • Coordinates all event communications (including registration) to attendees.
  • Prepares post event reports for sponsor/customer.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Meets attendance & punctuality standards.

What We're Looking For
  • A Corporate Event Planner with experience planning virtual events preferred
  • Expert in Webex, Zoom, Teams, and other virtual meeting and conferencing software
  • Familiarity with Live streaming RTMP, Vidyard and/or Vimeo preferred
  • Knowledge of Cvent, Marketo, and multiple Virtual Event Platforms preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML preferred
  • Knowledge of the IT Channel a plus, but not a requirement
  • CMP Certification is a plus; Current Affiliation in Professional Organizations is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
  • Network effectively to build solid, effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at the same time.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, walk, etc. for up to 16 to 18 hours at a time.
  • Constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Ability to take responsibility for projects and deadlines and take both praise and criticism well.
  • Display a preference for interacting with people, being friendly, outgoing, articulate and socially at ease.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a solid ability for proofreading and quality control.
  • Recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to travel for events and other work functions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Position Discipline (Ex: Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations) preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant event planning-specific experience; Certified Meeting Planner certification preferred, but not required
  • Current Affiliation in Professional Organizations preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to all states, Canada, and Latin America
