As a Caulker for Building Restoration Corporation you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A Caulker will perform a variety of tasks that aid in both the completion and success of a project and assistance of team members. To perform this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and details of this position.

For employment with BRC an employee must be able to pass our standard drug test and background testing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing duties such as joint sealants and caulking, firestopping penetrations and joint systems, needle glazing and structural caulking, architectural and traffic expansion joints.
• Work is strenuous and must be able to work overhead on exterior of buildings

• Must be able to carry scaffolding, ladders, weights, rigging equipment, etc.

• Must be able to tolerate heights of buildings and work on a swing stage and aerial lifts.

• Lifting objects or materials weighing 50+ pounds.
• Assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.)

• Using hand tools and small power tools.
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience is required- specifically with caulk removal, joint sealants, parking decks, silicones and urethanes.
• The employee is required to have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Employee must have the following tools needed for the position: caulk guns, tube and sausage gun, tooling knives, safety harness and caulk cutting knife

Travel

Travel is required for this position; the employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. BRC will compensate a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.

Work Environment

As a Caulker for BRC, the employee will be subject to various work environments. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, working at heights, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 8 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic.
