Call Center Representative - Medical Field

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Call Center Representative in the medical field. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing inquiries related to medical services and appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about medical services, appointments, and general inquiries.
- Schedule appointments, update patient information, and maintain electronic records accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and departments to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of patient inquiries.
- Handle and resolve patient complaints or concerns in a calm and courteous manner.
- Follow established protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve individual and departmental goals, including call volume and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Stay updated on medical procedures, services, and policies to provide accurate information to callers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical office administration or customer service are a plus.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in the medical field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong empathy and the ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with professionalism and care.
- Proficient in using call center software, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in shifts

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
