2nd Shift Part Time Warehouse Receiving Associate
$18.50/hour starting wage ($17.00 + $1.50 differential) + pay for experience
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Days/Hours: Sunday - Thursday / 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Flexible based on availability)
Join a team that will make you proud to be a Viking Electric employee. You will facilitate moving product throughout the distribution center with the use of power industrial equipment (PIE). You will utilize forklifts, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, and additional equipment may be used.
Position Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move material in a safe manner manually or by using forklift, pallet jack, handcart or other device.
- Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
- Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Participates in and follows all Viking policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc).
- Act in helpful and cooperative manner toward customers and Viking associates.
- Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.
Required Skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
Required Experience
- Past warehouse equipment experience preferred (forklift, pallet jack)
- Past warehouse experience preferred (shipping/receiving tasks)
