Position Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Parts Warehouse
Reports To: Director of Operations
Scope: This position is responsible for supporting the ABC Parts Department.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
  • Assist customers in person, over the phone or via email to identify needed part(s)
  • Fulfill and ship customer’s parts requirements in order to obtain and maintain maximum customer satisfaction
  • Receive incoming stock or transfer parts, ensure accuracy, packing slip and inventory
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels
  • Help the service department identify parts
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse
  • Properly identifying needed items, using parts catalogs
  • Filling customer’s wants for out-of-stock or non-stocked merchandise
  • Making certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised
  • Completing required documents before disbursing parts
  • Entering all necessary information in inventory control system records
  • Receive warranty parts by:
    • Seeing that the defective merchandise is tagged properly with date and correct numbers
    • Placing material in warranty parts bins area as required
  • Checks in parts as received, matches packing list to parts order
    • Puts away received parts in proper bins, locations
    • Noting discrepancies between inventory records and shelf quantities
  • Contribute to planning the reduction of slow moving or obsolete parts
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills:
  • Experience in the parts industry
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office including excel, word and outlook
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Effective time management with skills to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet multiple deadlines, have process-driven approach to multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work on their own initiative
  • Bilingual, a plus
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift/pull up too 100lbs
