Our close-knit group of 3 veterinary hospitals (Porter County Pet Clinic, LaPorte Animal Hospital, and Meyer Veterinary Hospital) with 5 doctors are looking to add a 6th doctor to our team. Our focus is on small animal wellness and preventative care as well as basic soft tissue surgeries and some orthopedic surgeries. An interest in Orthopedic Surgery is great but not required. Our current opening for a new team member is in Walkerton Indiana (Meyer Veterinary Hospital) which is a small town located a short drive from Notre Dame College, the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, and a train/bus ride away from Chicago. Northwest Indiana is a great place to live and raise a family. Our practice is open to mentoring new and recent grads and is also welcoming to more seasoned veterinarians. Our clinics feature a caring dedicated staff that want to make the client visit a positive experience and provide the best care possible for our four-legged friends. Meyer features a well-established team complete with Registered Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager, and several assistants. We enjoy consulting with one another on challenging cases and try to make our businesses a family like atmosphere. Our group along with other local veterinarians have worked diligently in the area to ensure 24/7 emergency care is available for all clients and patients. Our emergency clinic North Central Veterinary Emergency Center is affiliated with Purdue University Small Animal Teaching Hospital and has three locations within easy driving distance from all our locations.
