The Opportunity
Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA, and this position is available for remote work in the following states: WA, OH, NV, PA, TX, NC, GA, NJ, VA, and FL.
Our Transportation Analysts partner with the senior leadership of the Transportation division to improve growth and profitability of that business. You'll look at historical data and analysis to provide insights and guidance to the business to lead impactful change.

The Transportation Analytics team is primed to provide data and analytics to identify and react to our business trends and opportunities. You will work with other departments across the organization, including Vendor Operations, Finance, Fulfillment, and Tech to help them make data-driven decisions. You will report to the Manager of Analytics.
Your Impact
- Provide historical data and analysis of transportation metrics to support informed decision-making for the supply chain teams.
- Forecast and schedule of inventory levels and reorders through platform with multiple suppliers.
- Manage monthly accrual and financial reporting processes between transportation and finance.
- Deliver insights on financial performance and opportunities to reduce costs without affecting performance.
- Perform data mining for valued projects, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Complete cost-benefit justifications on strategic optimization decisions.
- Contribute to strategic carrier negotiations by analyzing internal data and carrier proposals with carriers.
What You Bring
- 1+ years in supply chain or analytics related field.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel with emphasis on pivot and data tables.
- Proficiency with SQL, Google big query, Tableau.
- Comfort and experience retrieving and manipulating raw data from multiple databases for analytical work and reporting.
