High School SOCIAL WORKER/COUNSELOR – Full Time – Part Time
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work with minimum of 3 years applied experience in high school setting. Current School Social Worker or Counselor’s license from the Public Education Department. Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide personal support and counseling to all students 9-12 (approximately 260 students). Develop and implement crisis intervention protocols. Coordinate with and assist Head of School and Dean of Students to develop a comprehensive campus wellness program. Organize and present classroom wellness curriculum incorporating community organization resources when appropriate. Provide referral, coordination and consultation services to school and parents.
