Special Needs Assistant - Delta County Job at MDS CAA Early Childhood Program
Currently, the Early Childhood Program is looking for a compassionate individual to fill a Special Needs Assistant role in Delta County! The essential function of this role is to ensure the delivery of quality child development/ health and disabilities services that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. This is a part-time position working 28-33 hours/week.
Experience:
· Possession of a high school diploma/GED is required. Early childhood training and/or Child Development Associate preferred.
· Candidates with a current Certified Nursing Assistant certification may be considered.
· Previous experience working with preschool developmental delays is preferred.
· Must abide by state requirements for MI Child Care Licensing to include health requirements, and comprehensive background checks in the form of fingerprints.
