Title: Senior Manager, HRIS


Manager of a team to support the entire HR systems landscape, including strategic alignment, financial investment, requirements and stakeholder management.


The Senior Manager HRIS works with internal/external business partners (Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, , IT, etc) to define business requirements and translate business needs into multi-year & tactical system implementation plans, including project prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning.


  • Responsible for the partnership, coaching and advising of HR COEs on the technical systems to support overall HR programs and delivery. Responsible to provide administration and configuration of HR technologies, including:
    • Success Factors Talent & Compensation modules including system maintenance, reporting, and implementation of additional modules.
    • Oracle Taleo ATS
    • SAP/HCM Security Design & Change Requests
    • Management of Upgrade/Migration paths for existing and new technologies
    • Management/Oversight of HR systems ticket support
  • Engages and manages third party tool support as appropriate to ensure on time and on budget delivery of COE programs
  • Drives program/project management including identifying and implementing change management and integration across HR and other key stakeholders for HR applications.
  • Master and maintain detailed knowledge of SuccessFactors and Taleo product-suite configuration options
  • Maintain active partnership with the HRIT (SAP) organization to ensure priority alignment and manage interdependencies
  • In partnership with the HRSD Data Governance team, create standard and ad-hoc management reports for presentations to executives that support new programs recommendations, training, or annual compensation administration.
  • Requirements gathering and support for inbound/outbound interfaces for modules in scope
  • Requirement gathering and analysis for new requirements as programs mature/evolve
  • Creation and review of functional specifications including effort and schedule estimation, where applicable
  • Configuration of business requirement, Unit testing and Quality testing
  • Production system incident management
  • Co-ordination with SAP Success Factors vendor to apply quarterly releases in development, quality and production system
  • Open up support messages, product issues with SAP SuccessFactors for resolving product issues
  • Conduct training/change management to implement/rollout new functionalities.
  • Demonstrates proper management of sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems (or related) or directly related business experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in the configuration and support of HR systems enabling COE delivery
  • 5 years’ experience with SuccessFactors Talent & Compensation modules
  • 5+ years’ experience with SAP HCM taxonomy and SAP HCM security roles
  • 3+ years’ experience with leading ATS and CRM tools such as Taleo
  • Ability to work with senior level leaders and business unit HR leaders as necessary
  • Experience with change initiatives, process improvement and/or simplification initiatives
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and how they impact HR systems
