Who Are We?

Started in 2010, Glamis Dunes Rentals is a small but growing, family-owned business based in Glamis, CA. We rent RV Trailers & Off Road Equipment (SXS & ATVs). All our equipment is privately owned, we are not a consignment service. By owning our own equipment, we have complete control over the cleanliness, condition and maintenance. We have high equipment turn over rates to ensure we always have the best equipment available. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction.

Whats the Job?

We are looking for an experienced individual willing to work as a year-round RV Technician in 2 separate seasonal locations. This will require relocation, working 6 months in Glamis CA, and the other 6 months in Phoenix, AZ. Housing accommodations will be provided.

This job will be focused on maintenance, repair and pre-rental preparation of our growing RV trailer fleet, as well as assisting with off-season prep & repair in Phoenix (where we store equipment in the off-season). You need to have solid RV maintenance & repair experience, a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and never have the mentality of “not my job”. We are very hard working, and we sometimes work long hours. We have a strong and growing team, and you must embrace a teamwork mentality. What are the general duties?

- Be able to trouble-shoot RV trailer issues, identify the root cause of any RV trailer system problem or failure, and successfully perform the best method of repair

- Check and repair as needed specific systems and features on RV Trailers

- Prepare RV trailers for rental by making sure all critical systems and features are in proper working order

- It can get dusty in Glamis because of all of the sand dunes, so RV trailer cleaning is often necessary

- Communicating any repairs required on any given RV trailer so priorities can be made

- Help co-workers get rental RV trailers customer-ready ahead of time, thereby avoiding last minute fire drills

- Analyzing any renter-caused damage and estimating repair costs

- Delivering and setting up fully-inspected RV trailers to a customer’s desired campsite within the Glamis Dunes Area using a company-owned truck (a clean driving record is required)

- Explain each applicable system to the renting customer upon rental delivery, so a knowledgeable, helpful and friendly demeanor is required

- Picking up RV trailers upon conclusion of a rental, inspecting the entire trailer and documenting any necessary repairs required

- Ensure overall quality of our RV trailers and related services being delivered to customers is always first rate

What do we need from you?

- Strong experience and technical knowledge in RV trailer repairs and issues

- Exceptional Work Ethic — Ability to work weekends and long hours during busy season

- Must be organized, dedicated, flexible, positive, focused, and thrive on doing your part to help ensure our customer’s RV rental experience is problem free and enjoyable

- Extremely detail orientated when testing and inspecting RV trailer systems prior to rental, as well upon completion of a rental

- Team player with a can-do attitude and no drama

- Dependable and clean – shows up ready to work and on time every day
