Camping World & Good Sam is seeking a driven, innovative Regional Field Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will partner with the hiring managers across your assigned region to fill open roles, build talent pipelines with top-tier candidates, and anticipate hiring needs in an efficient and thoughtful manner. As a Regional Field Recruiter, you will focus on employee and candidate experience, building relationships, and supporting the growing needs of the business. The Regional Field Recruiter will focus on hiring positions within our Dealerships (sales, service/fixed ops, finance, retail) and Retail Stores (retail, service/fixed ops), and regional roles for accounting, business development, and other field-based leadership positions. This position will report directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition. The Regional Field Recruiter is expected to be located within the assigned region, near a dealership location working a hybrid schedule with at least two days per week on-site.

Responsibilities of a Regional Field Recruiter include:

  • Candidate Experience: Provide a top-notch candidate experience by recognizing that candidates are people first. Regularly stay in touch with candidates throughout the entire process and ensure that whether a candidate receives a position with Camping World or not, that he/she will remain a customer and interested in working for us in the future. Resolves questions and/or issues in a timely manner and provides excellent customer service.
  • Hiring manager Experience: Build trusting and strong partnerships with hiring managers by providing a high-quality experience. Spend time learning the business you support and working with managers to understand forecasts and anticipate hiring needs. Execute an effective communication plan to ensure hiring managers and key stakeholders are always with current, meaningful knowledge about their open roles, pipelines, and how challenges are being addressed.
  • Full Cycle Recruiting: Work with other field recruiters to develop and execute a harmonious recruiting strategy. Identify innovative sourcing opportunities and build strong pipelines, including career fairs for new store openings. Partner with cross functional teams to anticipate hiring needs and pull-backs. Conduct thoughtful screening conversations, present candidates to hiring managers with rationale that conveys an understanding of the unique aspects of the role. Be a brand advocate, learn and effectively convey our total rewards program to candidates and negotiate appropriate offers. Support high-volume requisitions across departments, confidential searches, and new store openings and acquisitions. Ensure effective onboarding, anticipate and resolve challenges.
  • Proactive Recruiting & Sourcing: Think beyond platforms to develop innovative sourcing strategies to create a consistent flow of diverse top-tier candidates relevant to all aspects of the business. Develop deep relationships with field leaders, nearby colleges and universities, high schools, and community partners Leverage reputable platforms appropriate for the role (LinkedIn, Indeed, Direct Employers, Community Partnerships, Diversity Sourcing sites, and our ATS). Network and build relationships in the industry and the community to enhance proactive sourcing. Strategize with members of Talent Acquisition team on the best way to fill open requisitions.
  • Represent Our Brand: Be a brand advocate with every interaction. Elevate candidate experience by working with the Director, Talent Acquisition and other leaders to identify and execute consistent brand standards. Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to develop accurate, engaging recruiting materials, including job postings.
  • Deliver Results: Be accountable to key metrics including time to fill, sourcing effectiveness, quality of hires, and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 3-5 years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience in the automotive, RV, outdoor, and/or retail industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and fair employment practices is a plus
  • Experience in building relationships with community organizations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong understanding of HR software solutions, including but not limited to: Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and Human Capital Management (HCM).
