Regional Director of Business Development

Our organization is currently seeking candidates for our Regional Director of Business Development. This candidate should have experience with operating assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities, as well as marketing/sales and hospitality experience. This position will require exceptional organization and communication techniques, as well as frequent regional travel.

Responsibilities

Leads by communicating with and developing staff members, building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function, or geographic area.

Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision, manages day to day operations as well as all sales and marketing activities, for their respective territory. Provides oversight and support resources to each facility Executive Director as well as facility level Marketing & Sales associates.

Accountable for meeting and exceeding the occupancy and revenue goals while complying with government and agency regulations. Responsible for ensuring fiscal management of community marketing budgets is implemented and followed. Works with the Chief Financial Officer to coordinate and prepare and execute the marketing and sales budget for their respective territory.

Understands local markets within region and collaborates with Operations and Regional Sales management to make pricing recommendations.

  • Reviews and analyzes weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports to ensure accuracy of information and to make recommendations for necessary changes.
  • Partners with Training and Development to actively participate in sales training activities for the Division.
  • Promotes AdviniaCare in a positive manner and sets the example for company’s standards for excellence. Serves as a consensus builder among Sales and Operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
  • Generally, 5+ years of management experience in a senior level sales and marketing role
  • Experience is in senior living, healthcare or hospitality industry and in a multi-community role with management responsibility is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with exceeding revenue and occupancy expectations
