North Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 170 bed long-term care nursing facility located in Eight Mile, Al has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Nurse. This is a full-time position with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefit package.
Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services, the Quality Assurance Nurse serves as support person within the Facility, providing guidance and education; assisting the Facility in problem solving related to resident care; monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations. In addition, the Quality Assurance Nurse implements and coordinates the Infection Control Program as set forth in the Resident Care Policy and Procedure Manual.
Qualifications:
Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and must possess current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State. Must have current CPR certification.
Experience: Experience in the areas of Nursing Administration and teaching in geriatric and restorative nursing required.
