Title: Program Manager- Product & Technology

Our team’s mission is to enable Product & Technology to close the gaps between current performance and our short & long-term company goals. We use a variety of skillsets to improve the organization's collaboration while having a bias towards action and execution. The PMO (Program Management Office) Team leads the orchestration of Business Planning, Program/Project management, Agile enablement, and Product operations to create the highest level of efficiency possible within Paylocity’s Product & Technology organization.?We are looking for a Program Manager that brings great teamwork, positive attitude, high-energy leadership, and exceptional execution to our team. This role requires an experienced program manager who thrives in a fast-moving organization using lightweight processes, creative ideas, and quick iteration to make a significant impact.

What You Will Do:

• You will review business requirements, ensure transparency, and establish expectations for services while developing and executing project /program plans, defining scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Be responsible for development of roadmaps for strategic initiatives, including key achievements, timelines, KPIs, sequencing, resource allocation, leadership touchpoints/approvals, risk mitigation and exception-based reporting.
• Monitor projects/programs for scope drift, schedule changes and change order management promptly.
• Spot potential conflicts or overlaps among work streams/ initiatives, work with team members and leadership to achieve the best outcome for the business.
• Be a champion for ‘great execution,’ leading all aspects of activity and providing mentoring so the job gets done while understanding that ownership for execution of initiatives rests with individual members.
• Implement and manage program changes and interventions to achieve program outputs
• Conduct Post-mortem/Lessons learned to measure results, ensure achievement of business outcomes, successfully operationalize project deliverables and ensure documentation/runbooks and operational procedures are updated as required
• Provide transparency and insights to the work and value expected within the program to reflect the priorities of the teams and efficiency of delivery to drive actions and decisions.
• Orchestrates workflows across teams and complex portfolios in a matrixed operating model to align on timing of delivery and ensure operational readiness, risk assessments, and training considerations have been made to enable utilization and go to market of products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of large project & program management in a SaaS company, ideally in an Agile environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering executive level presentations
• Facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to provide clear and concise communications to executive leadership and cross program
• Collaborative approach to decision-making on teams, including ability to influence without direct line of reporting

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $122,000 - $130,00/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
