Job Summary:
Role Description
Hey Disney! has been publicly announced as a new custom virtual assistant developed in partnership with Amazon on the Alexa platform. It will be rolling out to all domestic resort hotel rooms at Walt Disney and Disneyland Resorts, along with at-home to Alexa enabled smart speakers. This innovative product will be a first of its kind, blending industry leading Alexa voice assistant technology with Magic only Disney can deliver.
As a part of the Digital Experience team, you will be responsible for the Hey Disney! product, delivery, and the relationship with Amazon. We develop innovative products for Disney.
Role Responsibilities
- Be responsible for delivery of the Hey Disney! product to Domestic Resorts and At-home markets
- Lead cross-functional go-to-market efforts across marketing, content, production, training, consumer insights and operations teams
- Development of OKRs (objectives and key results)
- Integrator for resort and business operations teams
- Integrator for Amazon partnership
- Leadership of a product and project management team
- Accountable for oversight of program financials
- Prioritization of the backlog and day to day priority for development teams
- Development, socialization, and promote the product roadmap inclusive improvements to Hey Disney! to establish new use cases and alignments not yet defined
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Product Management, Technical Product Management, or similar experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Desired Qualifications
- 10 years of leadership experience
- 5+ years of Product Leadership experience
- Experience with voice assistants or similar technology
- Experience with contract negotiations
- Master’s Degree in business, technology, or equivalent work experience
