Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, a physician owned practice, is currently recruiting for a full time Physical Therapist for our Irmo, Lexington, and downtown Columbia locations. This is a unique opportunity to become a key member of a top-notch team of orthopaedic and spine professionals. Therapist will facilitate the development and rehabilitation of patients by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy, exercise programs, and treatments. Therapist will evaluate results of therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommend and implement adjustments and modifications. Therapist completes discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers and contributing to patient care conferences. Case load is 100% orthopaedic and spine, which is a 50%-50% split between post-op and non-operative care.
