Core Competencies / Responsibilities

  • Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Parts
  • Stocks inventory at appropriate levels while maintaining appropriate services to shop operations
  • Prepares and conducts physical inventories quarterly
  • Provides reports and computer generated reports as necessary
  • Maintains an effective parts catalog system develop relationships with key vendors
  • Review purchase orders
  • Prepare invoices for AP department by coding invoices with correct account code number
  • Evaluate inventory records
  • Maintain records and preparing required reports relevant to the operations of all parts departments
  • Provide technical assistance to parts department employees
  • Conduct meetings with parts department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest and to develop strategies for a more efficient operation
  • Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Work Conditions

  • This is a 24/7 operation so flexibility is required. Weekend work. Long hours. Working outdoors from time to time.

Physical Requirements

  • Physically able to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Repetitive work. Standing for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist when stocking parts. Must be able to work around vehicle noise and fumes.

Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. If applying for a safety sensitive position, it may require a physical examination.
