About Makers Club

Nexplore Makers Club is an engineering program designed to inspire kids to pursue futures in science & technology. Students interact with fun Maker Kits that enhance mechanical, artistic, and engineering skills, while encouraging them to act as inventors in their own right. Participants design their own remote controlled hydraulic arms, learn to harness energy to power race cars, and experiment with structural design. Plus, students can keep their inventions and proudly share their projects with family and friends.

Nexplore Makers Club is fully aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, and reminds kids to always explore, experiment, and create!

Nexplore Classes

• Instructors use the Nexplore curriculum, and lesson plans.
• Materials and resources for the classes will be provided.

Nexplore Instructor Position

• PART-TIME - 1-2 hour per day.
• Locations near you.
• Compensation - $50/class (class range between 60-75 minutes)
• Commit to working 1-2 hour per day in:

Location 1: Capri - 850 Chapman Dr, Campbell, CA 95008, Campbell CA 95008.

Day: Monday's

Time: 2:20-3:20pm

Dates: Jan 09,23,30. Feb 06,13,27. Mar 06,13,20,27 (10 weeks)

Location 2: CSI - 295 Cherry Ln, Campbell, CA 95008, Campbell CA 95008

Day: Wednesday's

Time: 1:20-2:20pm

Dates: Jan 11,18,25. Feb 01,08,15. Mar 01,08,15 (9 weeks)

Location 3: Forest - 4450 McCoy Ave, San Jose, CA 95130, San Jose CA 95130

Day: Friday's

Time: 2:20-3:20pm

Dates: Jan 13,20,27. Feb 03,10,17. Mar 03,10,17 (9 weeks)

ONE TEACHER FOR ALL THREE CLASSES WOULD BE IDEAL.

Qualifications

*COVID-19 vaccination required.

• PART-TIME POSITION ONLY!!!!
• Passionate about working with children.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit for the schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Car mandatory Requirements.
• Willing to complete a background check and fingerprints.
• Commit for at least 27 to 29 dates during the school year.
