As a BASF Manufacturing Machine Operator, you will create chemistry with the largest chemical company in the world!

While working in our Care Chemicals facility in East Setauket, NY you will contribute to our mission by creating high-quality sustainable ingredients found in your household cleaning products, detergents, and industrial formulas. We are the largest provider of ingredients in natural cosmetics industry today.

During your 8h day/evening shifts you will…

· Support the Production Department by performing any or all the compounding and pre-weigh functions including the setup, operation & disassembly of Manufacturing equipment.

· Safely performing Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s) when involved in production of finished goods, following specific time sensitive instructions regarding Pre-weighing of raw materials, mixing speeds, temperature etc.

· Perform Calibration activities on equipment and Operate Control Systems.

· Always adhere to established safety, health and environmental policies and procedures, including participating in Safety meetings

If you….

· Earned a HS Diploma or GED

· Have at least 1 yrs of experience in a Manufacturing facility

· Can lift, up to 50 lbs., and perform other physical activities such as bending and climbing ladders
