Manager Personal Lines Underwriting I Job at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance
We are looking for a Manager Personal Lines Underwriting to:
- Direct daily team activities of Personal Lines Underwriting and Personal Lines Field Underwriting, including the acceptance, declination, and underwriting activities for assigned business.
- Be responsible for the selection and training of team members.
- Initiate employee actions such as salary adjustments, performance ratings, training, and discipline.
- Be responsible for the coordination of unit's activities with other departments and groups.
- Advise team members on complicated risks and make underwriting decisions on risks exceeding their authority.
- Lead training and provide continuous professional development opportunities.
- Balance and continuously improve performance in underwriting, customer service, and productivity to meet Company goals and lead measures.
- Establish, communicate, and implement department plans, objectives, and strategies to team.
