Maintenance/Houseman - Homewood Suites Job at MMI Hospitality Group
If you believe in teamwork and don’t mind being the support person, Hampton Inn & Suites- Ridgeland has an opportunity for someone like you. As the Maintenance/Houseman, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior and interior of the assigned buildings and following proper cart and storage procedures. You will be responsible for keeping the exterior of the hotel looking clean by removing trash and debris from walk ways and flower beds along with cleaning the porches, verandas and patios. Other duties include ensuring the hotel is maintained by performing preventive maintenance, caulking, painting in addition to sheet rock patching and replacement and related maintenance activities.
If you are skilled in the safe operation of hand tools and can read and understands specifications, are able to measure, compute amount of materials needed and inspect products, and can work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays this could be the job for you. The physical demands for this position including lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
