Halvik is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to support the Department of Army. The successful candidate will provide analysis and recommendations in support of DCS, G-4’s maintenance and sustainment policies and processes, and will provide creation of reports, logistics data analysis, data entry, and general administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and periodic analyses for DoD and DA staff agencies, and subordinate commands, including Maintenance Management and Equipment Readiness, reports on high visibility equipment, weapons systems, and parts.
- Conduct regular and periodic data collection for the purpose of analysis and course of action development on expected demands, support forecasts for incoming/rotating force structure, and other scenarios as necessary.
- Assist Department of the Army G-4 ILS Division Action Officers in preparing for executive briefings to higher leadership by preparing, analyzing, and quality-checking various requirements.
- Utilize the Depot Maintenance Operating Planning System (DMOPS) to work with multiple organizations such as ASA(ALT), G-3, G-8, and others to ensure a common view of Depot Maintenance requirements and funding.
Requirements
- Must hold a DoD Secret Clearance
- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of Logistics experience (or related field)
- Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and associated software
- Possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and adaptable to flexible work styles, environments, and locations
- Must be able to autonomously multi-task across concurrent initiatives
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders, including General Officers and Senior Executives
- Must have basic data mining skills and be familiar with MS Office applications such as Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred skills/experience
- MA/MS degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working within Army Logistics
- Prior experience working with G-4 Army staff
- Familiarity with the Strategic Portfolio Analysis Review (SPAR)
- Familiarity with Army's Master Divestiture List
