Looking for Line Cooks / Culinary Professionals to join THE elite hospitality staffing service in Puerto Rico. Requisitos - Requirements:
1) Minimum of 18 years of age with customer service orientation
2) Health and Good Conduct certificates
3) Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English/Spanish with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
4) Ability to provide legible communication and compute basic mathematical calculations
5) Professional appearance, dependability, integrity and positive demeanor
6) Move, list, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
7) Reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling and stopping. Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
8) Drug screening and background check may be required of successful candidates
Duties:
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
