New Hampton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, in New Hampton, Iowa, has a great opportunity to welcome a new LPN/RN to our established team. We are a licensed 56-bed dually certified building with an attached Assisted Living that has achieved five star rating due to our talented team members providing exceptional care to our residents. We are a resident centered facility that endeavors to provide quality care and an an exceptional living environment to our stakeholders. We are nestled in a beautiful rural community in North East Iowa proximal to Waterloo/Cedar Falls and several prominent schools and hospitals.

NHNRC is seeking a full-time LPN/RN

The duties for this position include:

Follow established standards of nursing practice and implements facility policies and procedures.

Complete medication administration

Complete detailed nursing assessments and documentation

Interprets existing policies and procedures to CNA's, residents, families, and physicians.

Supervises and evaluates all direct resident care and initiates, corrective action as necessary

Obtains report from nurse he/she is relieving and records sufficient information for follow-up action if necessary

Conducts residents rounds daily, reporting problems to Nursing Supervisor and initiating corrective action

Identifies resident problems and emergency situations and responds appropriately within the quality of life policies.

Provides clinical supervision of CNA's

Hours include: 8 or 12 hour shifts available 1st or 2nd shift
