Description: Enhanced Veterans Solutions (EVS) Inc. is hiring for full time Junior Help Desk Specialist to support one of our government contracts at Scott AFB in Illinois.
2nd Shift / 3 PM - 11 PM (Sun-Thur or Tue-Sat)
Primary Responsibilities: Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Performs work that requires practical experience and training. Work is performed under supervision.
Provides telephone support to end users on a variety of issues. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Responds to telephone calls and email requests for technical support.
Contributes to the creation and/or continued knowledge content to include procedures, check lists, workflows, and manuals.
Requirements:
- Secret Security Clearance (Active Interim Secret acceptable)
- Possesses 1 year experience in a help desk environment. Specialized experience includes knowledge of PC operating systems, e.g., DOS, Windows, as well as networking and mail standards and experience in supporting a help desk.
- General experience includes information systems development and other work in the client/server field or related fields. Has demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing and a positive customer service attitude.
- Meet DOD 8570 Level I requirement (A+, Net +, or Higher Certification)
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Proof of COVID19 Vaccination
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
