Position: Homeless Outreach Team Lead-Full-Time Opportunity

Location: Charlotte County

Charlotte Behavioral Health has a unique opportunity for a Full-Time Homeless Outreach Team Lead. This position leads a multidisciplinary team of clinical staff providing services to homeless individuals suffering from mental health and/or substance use concerns. In addition to supervisor role, the position will work with a caseload of 20-30 individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues and experiencing homelessness to provide mental health and/or substance use counseling. Services will be provided as part of a team approach to assist homeless individuals in accessing mental health and substance use treatment to decrease barriers related to accessing and maintaining stable housing.

Position Summary:

Employee provides individual and group therapy in a community environment to assist individuals experiencing homelessness access mental health and substance use treatment.

• Provide clinical direction of day to day team activities
• Supervision to a multidisciplinary team of case manager and peer level staff
• Maintains caseload providing direct counseling services
• assessment of needs
• supportive counseling and use of EBPs
• Use of motivational interviewing skills
• Collaboration with treatment team

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in counseling or related field with experience working with adults with mental health and substance use issues.
• FL licensed LMHC, LCSW or LMFT preferred.
• Computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment in collaboration with other community partners.
• Must have valid FL driver's license.
