Full Job Description
Yellow Dog Transport Inc is looking for motivated FedEx Delivery Drivers with at least one year of relevant driving experience to join us! No CDL required! Company vehicle will be provided.
Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria:
- At least 21 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations
- Clean per-employment drug screen
- Previous work-related driving history (at least one year)
- Professional and courteous
- Have a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate or to be able to pass a DOT physical
- Capable of delivering 100+ stops/packages daily
Applicable work-related driving history includes, but not limited to:
- Furniture Delivery, etc.
- Mover
- Tractor-Trailer driver
- Taxi/Uber driver
- Pizza delivery driver
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
- Navigate a variety of routes, sometimes rural, throughout the delivery area.
- Use handheld device for routing information.
- Able to get in and out of the truck and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift.
- Lift packages up to 150 lbs.
- Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered.
Compensation
- $150 - $160 day rate
- Paid training
- Quarterly safety bonus eligible
- Paid time off eligibility after 1 year of service
