Job Summary: The Director of Research and Evaluation provides expertise and leadership for the Superintendent, Executive Cabinet, and other department leaders related to research, qualitative and quantitative data analyses necessary to support data-informed decision-making and needs-based resource allocation towards establishing a racially and educationally just school system. This position partners across the Business Services, Communications, Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment, Human Resources, and Technology departments to collect, analyze, and distribute data to inform district initiatives, monitor progress towards identified goals, support decision-making, and identify areas of need for resource allocation.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or higher in educational administration, curriculum development, data science, psychology, or equivalent; demonstration of at least 5 years of increasing responsibility in research and evaluation field; experience in creating and/or conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies; demonstrated ability to facilitate and/or lead groups toward success. Experience in education as a teacher and/or administrator preferred.

Annual Salary: $187,691 - $197,193 depending on experience

Salary is based on the current NNRAP-Administrator Salary Schedule; Level B; placement on the salary schedule will be determined by Human Resources DOE. FLSA Exempt.

Work Year: 260 days per year, 8.0 hours per day.
