Description:
HCA Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist for the Schuylkill Health Services Unit at the Federal Correctional Institute in Minersville, PA. This will be a contract position, Full Time, Monday through Friday normally between the hours of 6am - 4pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.
Job Description:
- Provide dental prophylaxis on inmates who are referred by the dental staff
- Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient
- Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis
- Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist.
- Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff
- Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by the dental staff
The individual Providing the Dental Hygienist services under this BPA award must:
- Must be a certified/licensed Dental Hygienist in the State of Pennsylvania
- Must submit photocopies of their license and/or board certifications
- Must submit 3 letters of references from professional peers and sign a release of information for verification of credentials.
- Proof of vaccinations, including COVID-19
- 2-Step TB Screening, within the last year
