The Canopy at Hickory Creek is an upscale retirement community, specializing in assisted living and memory care, located in Titusville, FL. The Canopy will offer the finest senior living experience in the Titusville, FL area.
We are seeking a Full-Time Cook that embodies our core values of Character, Compassion, Commitment, Communication, and Consistency by providing the highest standard of care and first-class customer service.
In the role of a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing foods of the highest quality and taste for our residents, portion food as specified and serving food in an appetizing manner, assisting with inventory and ordering of food and non-food supplies, maintaining a kitchen environment that promotes safety and proper hygiene to include, other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must have a working knowledge of sanitation practices relating to food handling.
- Must have attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
- Must successfully pass a Level 2 background screening.
