POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bilingual Construction Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the field operations team, the Heavy Equipment Manager and Service Manager with administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Provide administrative support to the field operations team, the Heavy Equipment Manager and the Service Manager in the form of data entry, filing, securing documents and orders, etc.
- Receive completed Service Orders from the field technicians, update the service records, and close out the service orders
- Assist the Service Manager in ordering parts, supplies, etc. for the mechanics
- Responsible for processing equipment service orders and purchase orders.
- Must demonstrate good attendance and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Assist various departments and teams throughout the company
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual Spanish is required
- 2 – 4 years of administrative support experience in an automotive or construction environment is required
- Strong organization, record-keeping and exemplary follow-up skills.
- Must have basic knowledge of variety of software programs (MS Office, MS Excel, etc.).
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills preferred (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of different types of construction equipment preferred
- Ability to understand written procedures, write routine documents, speak clearly, and understand multi-step written and oral instructions in English.
- Ability to quickly shift task priorities and thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- Must be available to work overtime when necessary
OTHER CRITERIA:
Work Location: On-site in Corona, CA
Complies with company policies and procedures. Performs job safely with respect to others, property and individual safety
This position will be working in a warehouse shop environment and may be exposed to hazardous materials, loud noise or extreme temperatures.
