Louise Street San Rafael, CA 94901.

The Barista Position

Coffee Roastery and Coffee Shop in San Rafael, CA
The job will include the following responsibilities:

1. Cash handling through Square point of sale (we will train you)
2. Knowledge of 27 coffee’s and 13 teas (we will train you)
3. La Marzocco Strada Espresso machine usage and upkeep (we will train you)
4. Food handling
5. Open communication with team members, corporate office, and customers
6. Ability to work alone under high stress settings
7. Come to work, do your job, go home, no drama

About the schedule

We are looking for employees to work weekends and during the week 5am morning arrival and until 2pm coffee shop closing. 25-30+ hours with flexibility to both open and close the store. We are open 363 days a year and need hard working flexible employees.

Customer Service

• Welcomes customers to store, engaging with them throughout their store experience.
• Determines customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge.
• Demonstrates that customers come first by serving them with a sense of urgency.

Operations

• Provides consistent quality in the preparation of drinks and brewing of coffee and tea.

• Participates actively in training to learn new and promotional products.

Continually works to expand product knowledge of coffee and tea.

• Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
