Job Summary:
The Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University in Denver, Colorado invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach in the area of management to begin in Fall of 2023. The selected candidate is expected to teach six courses (18 credits) each academic year and have an active research agenda. Successful candidates will show potential for excellent teaching and noteworthy scholarship in their discipline. Applicants with knowledge and experience in the areas of management, leadership, organizational behavior, and diversity and inclusion are preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties
  • Design, develop, and teach courses at the undergraduate level in both the day-time semester format and online or evening formats.
  • Maintain currency in the field of management through scholarship such as peer-reviewed publications, presenting at conferences, and other scholarly activities. Candidates should meet SA (scholarly academic) expectations of four intellectual contributions within the preceding five years. Recent doctoral graduates will have up to five years to meet these expectations.
  • Conduct service to the college and university which includes attending department meetings, serving on college committees, and supporting students.
  • Conduct service to the community, profession and/or discipline which may include serving on editorial boards, participating in industry groups, and being a journal reviewer.

Start-Date: August 1, 2023

Minimum Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates will have a PhD or DBA in management or a related field. Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
  • A research agenda that demonstrates currency in the discipline.
  • Ability to design, develop, and teach management, leadership, and organizational behavior courses.

$63,300 to $84,400/annually commensurate with qualifications
