Application Support

The Application Support position is responsible for the installation, configuration and support of HRMC's hardware and software as well as all troubleshooting for the Center's equipment, answering the helpdesk phone and logging tickets.

COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $19.45/ hr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Travel: Travel to other McNabb sites may be required.

Equipment/Technology: Advanced computer skills and experience with typical office technology.

QUALIFICATIONS - Application Support

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited two-year college or technical school, with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Three years of related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Although this is not an exhaustive list, the candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in the following: Microsoft applications, hardware and software support, basic understanding of the structure of file and print servers, Active Directory, virtual desktops and troubleshooting remotely.
  • Prior experience in helpdesk, customer service and desktop/technical support and required.
  • Applicant must possess basic knowledge of information technology operations and have excellent people skills.

Physical:

  • Normal IT operations environment.
  • Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
