Here at Lakeside Foods, our maintenance team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally while maintaining the facility. Maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected “Jack of All Trades” team members, performing mechanical and/or fabrication updates and using their knowledge to continuously improve production processes. What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for the efficient flow of product through the assigned area and assist in the repair and maintenance of all machinery in the assigned area.
- Occasionally supervise employees in their day-to-day duties.
- Handle minor personnel problems. Refer major problems to the Supervisor.
- Perform and carry out building maintenance duties.
- Lubricate machinery when necessary and when scheduled.
- Perform minor pipe installation and repair.
What You’ll Bring:
- Prior experience with mechanical maintenance preferred, willing to provide on the job training
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to work 1st shift from mid-November through June with weekends off, and 2nd Shift from May through November
- Positive attitude
