State Contract Services and Insured Claims has multiple openings for a Workers' Compensation Insurance Technician (WCIT). Persons in this position may be rotated to Administrative Support Claims Technician, Medical Only Workers' Compensation Insurance Technician, Utilization Review Technician or a Lien Representative role at the discretion of local management based on business needs and other considerations.

In this role you will:

• Process timely and accurate payments to injured employees
• Manage cases, and efficiently produce optimal outcomes
• Evaluate and revise case information

• Ability to make accurate and timely decisions
• Ability to ask effective questions, evaluate information, apply laws, guidelines and procedures

This position has an option to telework and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs. Starting June 2022, selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office. Expenses for Onboarding attendance would be paid by State Fund. Candidates must reside in California to be eligible for this appointment.
