Yard Worker Job at Midway Auto Parts
Job Summary
Liberty U Pull - a Midway Auto company - is in need of a person to join their team in the yard. We are looking for two skilled technicians to assist with various positions in the salvage yard. This position will work with all members of the team and have a variety of responsibilities with keeping the yard clean. This person will need to be self motivated and a team player. If you have any experience with loading/operating, scrapping, draining, mechanics, etc., please apply. We are actively hiring for multiple positions in the yard. Midway offers 100% paid health & dental plans, 401k match program, PTO and paid holidays! The hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm. with the occasional Saturday.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Operating equipment of various sizes
-Moving material throughout the yard
-Keep grounds clear of debris while maintaining safety standards.
-General labor duties that may include but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment throughout the yard
-Other duties as assigned by your manager
Qualifications and Skills
General knowledge of vehicles
Have own tools is a plus
Air tools (we supply compressor) - Impacts - Wrenches - Sockets
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Basic computer knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Mechanical experience is required
